Raisin contains a large amount of potassium, magnesium, iron and calcium. They are also rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6. The traditional way of making them is spreading them down to the ground and turning them every 7 to 10 days for about 3 weeks. Nevertheless, there are more modern methods for their production. Their drying can be done traditionally with the sun but also by immersing them in hot water or by dehydration.
