Nachos have their origins in Latin American countries and are part of "Mexican cuisine" as it accompanies many dishes from these countries. Nachos are actually fried cornmeal-based chips, to which seasonings have been added to enrich their taste and are eaten accompanied by cheese sauce, tomato, pepper, etc. With the appropriate accompaniments (vegetables, pieces of meat or cheese), nachos can be served as a full meal and consumed comfortably by young and old.
